FED:Jobless jumps to 5.1 per cent

CANBERRA, Aug 11 AAP - The jobless rate unexpectedly rose to 5.1 per cent in July,
as the number of people in work held steady in the month, new data on Thursday showed.

Economists had expected a 10,000 increase in employment with the jobless rate remaining
at 4.9 per cent.
